Rotor processor is the latest offering of our FBC X.ONE 12 bar/ 2 bar product line. It can be used for multiple processes such as pelletisation, dry powder layering, rotor granulation/spheronisation, and suspension coating. The combination of centrifugal force exerted by the rotating disc and agitation caused by process airflow in a rotor processor results in perfectly round-shaped pellets and high-density granules. The precise control on process airflow, rotor disc gap, and disc rpm ensures a narrow particle size distribution.
The rotor processor is retrofittable and can be integrated as an interchangeable insert into ACG fluid bed machines both with 12 bar and 2 bar pressure shock resistance. You can adjust the disc height and disc speed that suit your process. The rotor processor is available in different sizes, from R&D scale to production scale.
