Fast and easy – SmartCoater™ requires the shortest possible process times and is easy to operate and access for service, thanks to large gullwing style side doors and excellent washability.

Optimised airflow - The fully perforated drum, combined with the horizontal airflow pattern, allows the separation of spraying and drying zones across the tablet bed. As a result, the coating material is used efficiently for optimised production.

Easy to clean – We’ve made sure that cleaning a SmartCoater™ is an effortless process. With our revolutionary cantilever drum bearing, we’ve eliminated additional drum supports inside the process chamber. Its advanced sanitary design includes sloped surfaces, fully welded housing, and washing nozzles, making washing the easiest.

Smart discharge – By installing the two-piece smart discharge system, you can empty the coating drum down to the last tablet.

X.ONE coating spray nozzle – The innovative split design of the X.ONE coater nozzle separates the dock and the nozzle. You can open the central lock to remove the nozzle. The dock with all its connections stays on the spray arm, and there is no need to re-align nozzle positions and angles. This setting allows you a more efficient, more consistent, and more GMP-compliant production.   

Rugged construction – The entire SmartCoater™ machine is fabricated, considering the rough and tough pharma operations. You can take apart as well as reassemble the machine quickly without any tools.

Anti-bearding technology - SmartCoater™ is equipped with a Schlick nozzle featuring anti-bearding technology. Further, it ensures that the optimal homogenous spray pattern meets the maximum spray rates.    

FDA and GAMP compliant – The software of the SmartCoater™ complies with the GAMP directives and all requirements of 21 CFR Part 11.
