CHARGING: The slurry is charged onto filter through the flow of gravity from the reactor installed just above the filter or at the slurry pump. FILTRATION: While the slurry is being charged into the filter, the filtrate will pass through the filter cloth by gravity. To further improve the flirtation rate & to keep the filter clean from any sort of sedimentation, the agitator should be brought down to its downward position for it to keep on rotating in the forward direction.
